The Briefcase Effect Launches

What did book launches teach me about AI or B2B saas? Nothing...But everything and anything I love about humanity has been wrapped around the book launches.

We launched with 7 sold-out events across Australia with over 400 attendees across industries and generations. The book has been featured in a number of giveaways too!

YOUR PERSONAL BRAND ACTION PLAN

Launch experience

I had no idea what to expect. Applying the same principles that I do for my clients at p3 studio - I partnered with people to deliver on the purpose.

People: 400 attendees at my 7 own events and partnering would be closer to 700

Partnership: Giveaways, engaging with community groups spanning across different ecosystems. I was able to break through barriers faced by authors, with practical insights.

Purpose : To bring the briefcase effect to life! By becoming the best version of self you become a magnet for A players and opportunities. I continually watched deals and friendships formed

unexpected workarounds

Brand Partnership

V, can I buy your book at a store? Yes its on its own display at a vintage store. From my editor below:

"Check out this on-brand partnership with a vintage shop in Paddington. Any idea what this sort of front-window display positioning would cost in a traditional bookstore? (Hint: you don't wanna know!)"

An Under-utilised and effective way to go to market

Growth in unexpected ways

Recoil

As a small business or someone starting out there will be a lot of constraints, rules, regulations that will hold you back against established players / competition. (Eg bookstores have very strict supply chain rules).

Reframe

I was personally quite disheartened at first. But Small business players also have an advantage.

They can act fast and with less constraint. We partnered with a private club, bar, vintage store, a university, corporate, not for profit, community groups .

Reflect

As a result I was able to expand my reach, my impact and partnerships both locally and globally.

I had made so many new friends and brought so people together making deals and forming friendships. Creative partnerships is one of the most under utilised ways to grow.

Thank you so much for your help! My team will aim to get back to you in the next 48 hours!
