A couple of weeks ago, I had the absolute pleasure of attending the book launch of an inspiring woman—an event I had been eagerly anticipating for some time. From the moment I heard about the book, I knew I needed to read it. And let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. Despite everything going on in my personal life, being at that launch felt like I was exactly where I needed to be—at the right place and the right time. Do you know whats fucking cool? Shortly after being published The Briefcase Effect rocketing to the best seller list. And it's exceptionally fucking cool to see my friend 💼🧚‍♂️ Vinisha Rathod lead by example. I remember catching up with V for a drink and discussing how everyone has a superpower, e.g. networker, empathizer, problem solver etc. Having read The Briefcase Effect, I see it as a guide to help me on my journey to find that, I'm sure others get something else out of it and that's what makes the book so great. So if you need help finding a path through the dense forest that is life and reduce all the noise, The Briefcase Effect might be what you want to read.

This book is straight to the point, super relatable, and filled with Vinicius’s funny and sassy takes that make it an enjoyable read. I especially recommend it for founders (particularly women) who struggle with self-doubt or want to build a life and career on their own terms. I also loved how he celebrates the startup community, weaving in shout-outs to so many people who make it what it is. It feels personal, inspiring, and empowering all at once.
